About Jessica

Food and community have steered my work for the past 23 years. I earned a BS in Nutrition and Food Science from Georgia Southern University and practice as an RD and LD. Early roles in community health and the WIC program taught me how to meet people where they are, honor lifecourse needs, and create realistic plans. Away from the clinic you'll find me gardening, reading, and enjoying time with family, which helps me stay grounded and curious.

Approach to care

I ground my recommendations in current research, then we translate that evidence into practical, sustainable steps you can keep long term. Our work together is weight-neutral and behavior-focused, guided by HAES principles, and delivered in a warm, nonjudgmental way. I aim to educate and empower you, while offering clear action steps and accountability. Together we'll address the whole person, not just food, so changes fit your life and last.

Your first session with Jessica

We'll use the first visit to build a clear picture of your health and priorities without pressure or judgment. I will review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring, and we will talk through routines, barriers, and what matters most to you. By the end of our time together we'll set one to three short-term goals you feel confident starting, so you leave with a doable plan and a sense of direction.
