About Jill

I lived in Colorado most of my life up until recently when my husband and I decided to move to Wyoming for a slower pace of life. I love the outdoors that both Colorado and Wyoming have to offer. Every year we spend time exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Professionally, I have been dietitian for over 25 years and I spent the first part of my career in the acute care/hospital setting working as part of the healthcare team working with a variety of health conditions. Then after time as a clinical nutrition manager and food service director, I transitioned to public health/outpatient where I continue to work as a WIC dietitian. I love supporting our pregnant and breastfeeding/postpartum moms as well as infants and children (prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding support, inadequate infant weight gain, high childhood BMI, picky eating or food allergies to name a few). I am grateful for the trust they have in me and the relationships we have created.

Approach to care

Most importantly, I want you to feel heard and to know that you matter. My hope is that we create a relationship based on trust and honesty and that you feel supported and not judged. By getting to know you and to understand what your health/wellness goals, no matter how big or small, we can work together to come up with a plan to achieve those goals so you can feel better physically and/or emotionally.

Your first session with Jill

Since I will have reviewed the information you provided prior to our first session, I will ask additional questions to make sure I have the full picture of what you hope to get out of our sessions together. We all come from different backgrounds and different experiences that shape who we are, which in turn has likely impacted our health. Understanding these things, as well as where you are at in this health/wellness journey, can help us be more intentional and ultimately successful with realistic steps to achieve your goals.
