About Jill
Hi, I'm Jill. I'm a Registered Dietitian and LD with almost 20 years of experience helping people navigate nutrition and health. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from KSU, and my work spans clinical hospital, outpatient settings and community health. I bring professional expertise and personal experience with weight management challenges to my practice. I currently work full-time outside of Nourish. Outside of work, I love reading, playing games, and spending time with my people and my cats. I believe connection matters as much as science.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is built on evidence-based science, empathy, and partnership. I stay current with research and tailor plans to fit your life. I practice weight-neutral approaches, focused evidence-based principles rather than dieting culture, and I emphasize holistic well-being including sleep, stress, and relationships. We'll work together to set sustainable habits, celebrate progress, and adjust as needed. I'm educational, explaining the what and why so you can make informed choices and feel empowered.
Your first session with Jill
Our first appointment is about you. We'll review your history, labs when available, and discuss your goals. This is a judgment-free space where progress rarely happens in the first/single session. We'll talk about your routines and what small changes that feel doable. By the end, we'll set a goal(s) and map out our future steps that are “you” focused. It’s important to know that not everything can (or should) be “fixed” in one session. The first appointment is the starting point. Meaningful, lasting change takes time, consistency, and patience. Just as getting here didn’t happen overnight, reaching your desired results is a process. You won’t be doing this alone. I’ll be here as both an accountability coach and a cheerleader—helping you problem-solve challenges, adjust the plan as needed, and celebrate progress along the way. You can expect a collaborative, supportive conversation where questions are encouraged and progress is measured in more than just numbers.
