About Jill
Hello! After 24 years working as a registered dietitian, I bring clinical and community health experience to every patient conversation. I earned my Masters in Human Nutrition at The University of Alabama and studied Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics at Mississippi State University for my undergraduate education. As an RD, I combine practical hospital-based skills with community-minded problem solving. Outside of work I enjoy family activities, listening to audiobooks, yardwork, and walking or YouTube exercise videos.
Approach to care
I am interested in meeting you where you're at in your health journey. I use evidence-based strategies while keeping the conversation warm and judgment-free, so we'll focus on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We'll discuss clear, actionable steps and teach skills you can use long term, while supporting you every step of the way.
Your first session with Jill
In our initial visit we'll take the time to learn your background, current eating and activity patterns, and what matters most to you. This is a low-pressure, nonjudgmental conversation, so you don't need to have all the answers before you arrive. We'll identify realistic, practical next steps together and leave with a few small goals to start building habits that last. I aim to make the visit collaborative and reassuring, so you feel seen and supported from the first appointment.
