About Jillian

Hi, I'm Jillian. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 22 years of experience. I specialize in therapeutic, sustainable low-carbohydrate and very-low carbohydrate eating patterns, including ketogenic approaches and CGM-informed eating. This approach uses emerging science and research to help people improve their life through weight changes, blood glucose control, mental health status, and other metabolic conditions such as insulin resistance and PCOS. I hold a Master of Public Health degree, a CDCES (diabetes specialist and educator) certification, and a BS in Dietetics from Missouri State University. I've worked in clinical and hospital settings, private practice, corporate wellness, community and public health, and digital health coaching, which gives me a multi-layered view of how nutrition fits into real life. In my free time I enjoy acrylic painting, reading, and writing poetry. I'm glad you're here and I'm excited to work with you to implement a new approach to life through food.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence with empathy, personal experience and real world action. We'll work together in a collaborative, non-judgmental space to build long-lasting habits that fit your life and provide guidance so you can achieve your most ambitious wellness goals. My approach is holistic and educational, empowering you to understand how to improve your metabolic health, cut through the nutrition noise, and feel confident navigating food choices on a daily basis.

Your first session with Jillian

Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation about you. We'll review your medical history, talk through your relationship and history with food and weight, and then establish short-term and long-term goals. You don't need to have it all figured out before you arrive. You'll leave with a few concrete next steps, and we'll adjust as you grow.
