About JoAnn
I have been a registered dietitian for 20 years with a focus on kidney disease, heart disease, pre/diabetes, pre and post bariatric procedures, weight management and corporate wellness. I believe in building a collaborative relationship with my patients let you know you are supported throughout your journey whether I am helping you navigate through a new medical diagnosis or improving everyday eating habits. Outside of direct patient care, I participate in professional development activities, staying current with evolving research and best practices in dietetics.
Approach to care
My approach to care is individualized, centered around your specific needs, flexible and rooted in evidence-based practice. The goal is to empower you to develop healthy habits using motivational interviewing and realistic goal setting that will not only help you reach your goals but also allow you to sustain the changes to improve your health and quality of life.
Your first session with JoAnn
In our first session we will get to know each other, review your medical history, nutrition and lifestyle factors, discuss your expectations, establish your goals and answer your questions. Together we will create the path to move you forward in achieving improved health outcomes.
