About Joann
Hi my name is Joann Teller. I became interested in nutrition when I was in my early 20's. It began in an unexpected way with my curiosity about metaphysics. I believe our mental and spiritual states directly influence our physical health. I believe in clean eating. I am an experienced, professional Registered Dietitian with more then 25 years of experience, mostly working with Kidney patients, building professional relationships with clients of all cultures. I use a practice what I preach philosophy! I have been struggling with my weight, overweight as an adolescent and called many names, and kept it in range for decades now. I eat a variety of cultural foods in moderation and keep active physically and mentally to achieve a whole body balance. I would love to bring you along a healthy balanced journey for your own.
Approach to care
Preventative nutritional approach utilizing the all foods fit criteria. I believe in all foods in moderation utilizing nutrient dense foods as the main source on energy. Discuss the variety of fats and fiber and the importance of how they impact our lifestyle and health.
