About Joanna
With over 10 years of experience in nutrition and fitness, Joanna is passionate about helping develop nutrition and exercise habits for sustainable, long-term change, becoming healthy not just physically but mentally as well. Together we work to conquer struggles that lead to unhealthy relationships with food through intuitive eating and habit-based nutrition coaching. Joanna enjoys teaching how overall health, nutrition, and exercise are all connected, and how it is possible to achieve these goals while still enjoying the foods and lifestyle you love.
Approach to care
Joanna takes a whole-person approach to care in which we talk about nutrition, stress, sleep, exercise, and how each impacts the other. Her nutrition approach is individualized and follows an βall foods fitβ philosophy using evidence-based nutrition science to develop habits for long-term lifestyle change. Her approach focuses on building a positive relationship with food, so you can achieve your goals and are equipped with the tools to maintain results.
Your first session with Joanna
During your first session, Joanna will get to know your health, exercise, and nutrition history; learn what your goals are; and learn more about your lifestyle to provide customized nutrition recommendations. We will discuss approaches to begin working toward your goal, and you will leave the session with one specific goal that you feel confident in working towards until the next session.
