About Joanne
I help people who want to lose weight and feel better without extreme diets or unrealistic expectations. If you feel overwhelmed by nutrition advice or frustrated with past attempts, you are not alone. I specialize in weight management, supporting patients who use GLP 1 medications and diabetes including Type 1. I also have personal experience with GLP 1s, which allows me to understand both the physical and emotional parts of the journey.
Approach to care
My approach focuses on realistic steps that fit into your life so progress feels manageable. We will focus on building confidence around food, improving energy, and creating habits that last. I guide you through nutrition, appetite changes, and long term habit building with empathy and practical strategies. Success is not just about the scale but about feeling more in control, more hopeful, and more capable of caring for your health.
Your first session with Joanne
When we work together, you can expect a supportive and judgment free space where your goals lead the plan. In your first session, we will talk about your goals, your past experiences, and what feels hardest right now. There is no pressure to be perfect or change everything at once. You will leave with a clear plan, small next steps, and a sense of direction and support.
