About Jocelyn
Hello! My name is Jocelyn Rozeveld, and I have been practicing as a Dietitian since 2015. Most of my experience has been in nutrition counseling and education. I worked as a Dietitian educating in nutrition and lifestyle for 9 years with the MOVE! weight management program through the Department of Veteran's Affairs. During this time, as an outpatient Dietitian, I also assisted individuals with implementing nutrition interventions for health management including diabetes, cholesterol/heart health, gut health, inflammation, fatty liver, blood pressure, fatty liver, weight loss, malnutrition, and general health and wellness.
Approach to care
I am passionate about helping individuals build or rebuild their health foundation so they can live the life they want to the fullest. I will work with you to identify the areas of health you want to improve, and incorporate evidence based nutrition and lifestyle strategies to help you achieve your goals. I'm all about helping you find the easy adds or shifts in your routine, and gradually building on them for long term success with your health management.
Your first session with Jocelyn
In the first session I like to get to know you, and get a picture of what your general daily routine is like. I typically ask about meal routine, physical activity, weight trends, sleep patterns, stress levels, and health background. We will identify what is important to you with your health, and we will select initial goals/changes that you feel are realistic and achievable. You will be provided with nutrition tools and resources where needed to assist implementing changes into your routine. We will also set up follow up sessions, typically once a week for at least the first few weeks. This helps us to evaluate what tools are working well for you, while continuing to build consistency with nutrition solutions.

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics via University of North Dakota
Hobbies
I enjoy a variety of dance styles including salsa, bachata, fusion, and swing/jazz dancing- primarily Lindy Hop. I enjoy going on adventures with my husband and my dogs, as well as outdoor activities in general including walks, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. For down time and relaxation you can usually find me either reading or working on a diamond dot portrait or puzzle. I am a novice gardener and baker, and am hoping to gradually build experience in both areas. I am fairly extroverted, and value spending quality time with friends.
