About Jodi
Jodi has been a registered dietitian for over 25 years and obtained her certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition in 2023. She has worked in acute care settings and provided community nutrition, as well as pre/postnatal/breastfeeding support and pediatric nutrition. She launched her telehealth business, focusing on functional nutrition and gut health in 2023. Her passion for finding the root cause(s) of a condition and partnering with clients to provide nutrition counseling that is customized to their specific needs led her to Nourish in order to reach more people with a desire to not only treat and/or avoid disease, but to optimize their health.
Approach to care
Jodi's approach to care is developing relationships with clients and looking at the body as a whole system. She loves to evaluate and explain labs values in a way that makes sense and as a tool to guide client care. She believes in whole, real foods, as well as stress management, good sleep hygiene, connection to others and nature, and mind-body stimulation/movement as the pillars to good health. She treats every client as she would her family and tailors their protocol to meet their specific goals and needs.
Your first session with Jodi
During your first session, Jodi will get to know you by reviewing your personal intake form and asking and answering questions. She will review available labs with you explain Nourish's approach to care. She will partner with you to set goals and make a detailed plan to achieve those goals. Most clients find the best results by setting weekly, consistent appointments for 8-12 weeks. Jodi will prioritize helping you set up these appointments to reserve your time and review Nourish's cancellation policies with you. Jodi is flexible and wants to make sure she is meeting you where you are, so she will ask for honest feedback.
