Jody Herman (she/her/hers) is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a background in Eating Disorders, mental health disorders, sports nutrition, food allergies and gastrointestinal disorders. She provides individualized care to support individuals build a sense of security and confidence in their relationship with food and their bodies. Jody is an "all foods fit" and weight neutral dietitian with a focus on mindful and intuitive eating rather than restrictive dieting. Approach to care

Jody approaches care from a weight neutral, non-diet, client centered lense. She works closely with individuals to ensure that they are moving at a pace that works well for them and recognizes that everyone has differing needs and preferences when it comes to their care. Jody focuses on compassionate care through a research-based lens. She ensures that each individual whom she works with feels like they are heard and have the space to be open about challenges that may arise and celebrate the successes in their work together.

Your first session with Jody

In your first session, Jody will focus on getting to know you and what you want to work towards. She recognizes that working on your relationship with food and body can be difficult (and sometimes scary), and will create space for any questions that you may have along the way. The two of you will work together to come up with a "game plan" of how to reach your goals and from there, how to get started!
