About Cosper
My passion for nutrition began during my freshman year at Clemson University. I started as an Engineering major but found myself more fascinated by nutrition than my coursework. My journey began with a desire to feel healthier and lose weight—eventually losing nearly 40 pounds and changing my major to Nutrition. During college, I worked at GNC, sharing evidence-based guidance on supplements and wellness with others. Since becoming a dietitian, I’ve worked in the Northside Hospital system as an inpatient dietitian and an outpatient oncology, gaining experience across multiple disease processes, with specialties in oncology and cardiology. While I love supporting patients through difficult times, my ultimate goal is prevention—to help people improve their health and quality of life before illness occurs.
Approach to care
I want to meet you where you are and find the best steps to move towards your goal in a sustainable fashion. Changing lifelong habits is not an easy process. My goal is to support my patients to make small changes on a day-to-day basis that will lead to a long and healthy life. Our meetings are a no-judgement zone. There will be bumps along the road and that's okay! Let's work together to find the root cause and how we can avoid issues before they arise.
Your first session with Cosper
I want to learn everything about you! When making healthy changes, nutrition is only a portion of it. I want to know your background, lifestyle and be able to identify barriers that stand between you and your goals. I would also like for us to go through your medical history, medications and supplements to tailor our goals appropriately.
