About Jon
I started a career 10 years ago as a dietitian because of love of food, cooking, and exercise. Over time, I have enjoyed helping individuals reach their nutrition, performance, and weight goals. My time as a dietitian started at an outpatient endocrinology clinic teaching patients how to eat to better manage their weight, blood sugar, and diabetes. My recent work has focused on performance nutrition. However, there is always a thread of clinical nutrition that drives sessions.
Approach to care
Evidence based with a focus on behavior and lifestyle modification. Cookie cutter meal plans may seem like a great approach, but they rarely leave you with skills needed to long term success. Regardless of your preferred dietary approach, consistency will be the biggest driver to your success.
Your first session with Jon
First sessions are a chance to find out your goals and barriers that may be preventing you from reaching them. A comprehensive assessment will be completed that creates a solid foundation of knowledge to build from. This will be a an opportunity for you to leave with actionable information and goals.
