About Jordyn

Hello! My name is Jordyn and I have been a Registered Dietitian for over a year. I received my Master's in Human Nutrition in 2023 and completed my internship in Tennessee. I have experience working with patient's that have cardiovascular disease, diabetes, spinal cord injuries, acute illness, tube feeds, women's health, and more! I strive to continually expand my knowledge of nutrition, both professionally and personally, to provide the best guidance for my clients. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to make sustainable, enjoyable changes to your nutrition and overall health.

Approach to care

As a Registered Dietitian, my approach to care is centered around individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based nutrition strategies. I believe that every person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to health and nutrition. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and health goals. I focus on building a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable exploring nutrition in a way that works for you. Whether you're managing a specific health condition, improving athletic performance, or simply striving for a balanced, sustainable lifestyle, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll address any barriers, enhance your food choices, and focus on making sustainable, realistic changes that promote long-term health.

Your first session with Jordyn

During our first session together, my goal is to get to know you and understand your unique health and nutrition needs. We’ll start by discussing your personal health history, lifestyle, and any specific goals you’d like to achieve. I’ll take the time to learn about your current eating habits, challenges, and preferences so we can create a plan that works for you. I believe in taking a holistic approach, so we’ll also talk about other aspects of your well-being, such as your activity level, stress management, and any barriers you might be facing when it comes to making changes. Based on this information, I’ll provide you with initial recommendations, which could include small, actionable steps to help you start making positive changes right away. Our first session is all about building trust, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring that you feel comfortable and empowered moving forward. Together, we’ll create a plan that aligns with your values and fits seamlessly into your life.
