About Josh

I have an extensive clinical nutrition background from roles in inpatient, outpatient, and the military, covering a wide array of conditions and areas of nutrition. My clinical specialties are safe and sustainable weight loss, heart health, prediabetes, and kidney disease and transplant. I have also worked in sports nutrition with NCAA Division I collegiate athletics programs and am currently a performance dietitian at a fitness studio. Whatever the reason you're looking to meet with a dietitian, I can be your support system and co-pilot in developing and applying evidence-based nutritious eating habits for building healthy lifestyle skills, powering physical performance goals, or both.

Approach to care

I see nutrition therapy as the patient and dietitian working as a team to solve a puzzle. As a patient, you may feel like you have most of the pieces in place and are looking for the last few, you may have just a couple figured out and are struggling to find the ones that are left, or you don't even know where to start. That's where I come in. No matter if you have one small goal or many large goals, by working together I can help you achieve those goals by guiding you to locate and place the pieces you know you needed but couldn't find, as well as the pieces you didn't know were missing.

Your first session with Josh

In our first session, I will start by emphasizing that our discussion is a safe space and there is no judgment from me on any information you share. We will then discuss your dietary and lifestyle habits, and medical and nutrition history. From there, we will set achievable and realistic short and long-term goals that will put you on the path toward becoming your best self - even better than you already are. We will conclude with deciding on an appropriate follow-up schedule and arrange our next session.
