About Joshua

Hi, I’m Joshua, an RD with three years of experience in clinical settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Central Michigan University and completed my Dietetic Internship through Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. I’m passionate about using evidence based scientific data to create practical steps you can actually use day to day. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, practicing yoga, reading, or biking with my dog, camping, or kayaking. I’m here to learn who you are, set attainable nutrition goals, and help achieve your goals with patience, empathy and clarity.

Approach to care

My care philosophy starts with respect for science and your unique life. I base recommendations on current evidence while staying practical and friendly. I meet you where you are, offering a warm, nonjudgmental space and a collaborative plan you can own. We’ll translate science into doable steps, track progress, and adjust as needed. I practice with a HAES-informed, weight-neutral mindset and look at health holistically—food, sleep, movement, stress, and mood all matter. I also prioritize education so you feel confident making choices long after our sessions end.

Your first session with Joshua

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll start by getting to know your medical history, daily routines, and what’s brought you here. We’ll review any recent lab work and biometrics, discuss your short-term and long-term goals, and outline what we can do together to move toward them. You don’t need to have every detail ready; I’ll guide the conversation with questions and listening. We’ll set a small, actionable first step and a plan that fits your life so you can feel confident taking the next steps.
