About Jourdan
Hi there! I'm so happy you're here. I graduated from Taylor University in 2020 with my BS in Sustainable Development. After that I went on to get my Master's in Dietetics from the University of Alabama Birmingham! I live in Indianapolis with my husband! I played college soccer and love doing anything athletic! Also, I love spending time outdoors and traveling! I also run my own personal chef business as well as being a Registered Dietitian. I love making food, eating food and educating people on food! I believe there is so much power in knowing how our bodies function and how food can be there to benefit them! I can't wait to walk alongside of you on this journey.
Approach to care
My philosophy on food is all about sustainability, balance, and freedom. I have an anti-diet approach, meaning I don't think there is any one right way to eat. Everyone's bodies are so unique and there is no one-size-fits all when it comes to our diet! I believe all food can fit, and no food should be restricted or demonized. Our society has placed a lot of labels and fear around food. My desire is to help educate and empower you to know what food does for you and how it works in your body. By learning these things, you will be able to take ownership of your health and build a healthy, positive relationship with food. I can't wait to watch you thrive!
