About Joy
With over seven years of international clinical experience, I have worked across hospitals and outpatient clinics in multiple countries. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, I bring a global perspective and a deep understanding of the cultural and emotional factors that shape people’s eating habits, which allows me to connect with diverse patients and provide care that is both culturally sensitive and evidence-based. As a certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) in London and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), I bring advanced clinical expertise to my work. I provide individualized guidance and practical strategies to help patients make realistic, meaningful changes and empower them to build healthier relationships with food and their bodies.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition is centered on creating a non-judgmental, supportive environment where patients feel safe and empowered. I meet everyone where they are and guide them step by step, helping them build healthy, sustainable habits that they can integrate into today’s busy life. Recognizing that health is unique to each person and evolves across life’s stages, I use evidence-based strategies to set personalized goals that align with my patients’ needs and aspirations. My care emphasizes practical, meaningful changes, empowering patients to improve their well-being while fostering a balanced, positive relationship with food.
Your first session with Joy
In your first session with me, we’ll take a deep look at your health, habits, and lifestyle, including your relationship with food, sleep, hydration, and overall well-being. My goal is to understand your journey, your challenges, and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll set realistic short- and long-term goals and create actionable steps you can start implementing right away. I’ll guide you every step of the way, giving you the tools and confidence to make meaningful, lasting changes that improve your health and relationship with food.
