About Judith
As a Registered Dietitian, my perspective is shaped by personal experience and expertise. My journey began when my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which transformed my understanding of nutrition and its crucial role in managing chronic conditions. Initially overwhelmed, I dedicated myself to learning about diabetes management and the impact of nutrition on health outcomes. This experience inspired my career in dietetics, allowing me to empower others facing similar challenges. I am passionate about helping individuals take control of their health through informed dietary choices. My goal is to support clients in navigating their needs—whether managing diabetes or improving overall health. I believe nutrition is a powerful tool for positive change. Together, we can develop personalized strategies that fit your lifestyle and wellness goals, transforming your relationship with food and empowering you to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is collaborative, evidence-based, and compassionate. I'll meet you where you are and walk with you toward lasting habits, not quick fixes. I value your relationship with food and honor your culture while applying science to practical choices that fit your life. I hold an Integrative Wellness and Life Coach certification from IWA earned in 2017, which informs a practical, supportive path forward. I support a health at every size approach, focusing on behavior and well-being rather than a number on the scale. My style is educational and holistic, considering sleep, stress, movement, and meals as parts of a sustainable pattern.
Your first session with Judith
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, take a deeper look at your relationship with food, and discuss any relevant lab work or biometrics. We'll also start talking about a realistic meal plan and set 1 or 2 short-term goals to guide our next steps. This is a judgment-free, low-pressure conversation, and you don't need to arrive with every answer. Together, we'll map out a path that respects your pace, preferences, and daily life so you feel confident moving forward.
