About Judy
Hi! I’m a Registered Dietitian with nearly 5 years of clinical experience working with NICU, pediatric, and adult patients.Over the past year, I have started to transition into outpatient counseling. I truly love building relationships, offering ongoing support, and watching my clients grow in confidence as they find what nourishes them best. I grew up struggling with my own relationship with food and my body, and I know how overwhelming, confusing, and emotional nutrition can feel. Healing that relationship changed my life, and it’s the reason I’m so passionate about helping others find peace and balance with food—without shame, guilt, or restriction. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, especially in women’s health, weight gain and weight loss with a sustainable approach, GI disorders, pediatrics, and chronic disease management.
Approach to care
My counseling style is compassionate, realistic, and individualized. I believe you are the expert of your own body, and my role is to guide and support—not judge or prescribe strict rules. I focus on self-compassion, sustainable habit change, and building trust with food and your body. We’ll explore what nourishment looks like for you, create flexible and realistic strategies that fit your life, and work at a pace that feels safe and achievable. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and empowered—never overwhelmed.
Your first session with Judy
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll explore your relationship with food, your health history, and what’s bringing you to nutrition counseling. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where you can share openly at your own pace. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your goals, challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we’ll identify a few realistic first steps so you can leave feeling supported and confident about your individualized plan.
