About Juichia

Hi, I'm Juichia, you can call me Jui. I'm a Registered Dietitian (RD, LDN). I am originally from Taiwan. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition there and continued my graduate studies in the United States, and recently moved to Louisiana with my husband! Very excited to start my new role as a dietitian here at Nourish. I previously worked in clinical and private practice settings. I blend evidence-based care with a warm, collaborative approach. I have one year of experience as an RD, and I love turning scientific findings into practical steps you can use every day. When I’m not seeing clients, you’ll find me outdoors on a trail or in the kitchen experimenting with new foods. I recently upgraded to a bread machine, and I’m in my homemade bread era, happily sharing loaves and meals with my husband. I’m grateful to learn with you and support your goals.

My care philosophy centers on meeting you where you are and growing together toward lasting health. I work through an evidence-based lens, guided by Health At Every Size, and I pair that with genuine empathy and warmth so you feel heard and supported. I see nutrition as part of a holistic life, including sleep, stress, and joy at the table, and I focus on practical, educational steps you can actually sustain. We’ll shape a plan that fits your life, respects your values, and helps you build confident habits that endure.

Your first session with Juichia

Our first appointment is a welcoming conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and look over any lab work or biometrics you have. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet we’ll explore what has and hasn’t worked for you and what you want to change. We’ll move at your pace, and together we’ll set 1–2 practical goals to start with so you leave with clarity and a plan you can begin implementing right away.

Hobbies

I’m happiest outdoors — give me a trail, fresh air, and a good pair of hiking shoes and I’m in my element. Hiking is my therapy, my reset button, and my favorite way to clear my head and start fresh. When I’m not out chasing views, I’m in the kitchen experimenting. I love exploring new foods and recently upgraded my life with a bread machine (yes, I’m entering my homemade bread era 🍞). Nothing makes me happier than trying new recipes and sharing them with my husband:)
