About Julia
I’m a Philly-based Registered Dietitian with a diverse background in clinical nutrition, healthy aging, and chronic disease management. I’m passionate about helping people achieve their goals through realistic, sustainable nutrition strategies. My love for food runs deep—growing up in a family rooted in the food service business, I learned early on that food is more than just fuel: it's connection, culture, love, and tradition. I bring that perspective into every session, combining evidence-based guidance with an understanding that food is deeply personal.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I work closely with each client to develop realistic goals that align with their needs and pace. I draw from principles of mindful and intuitive eating in my sessions to help diet changes feel less restrictive, regardless of your goals. Whether we're making small changes or tackling complex health concerns, I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered and in control of their progress. My core value is that good nutrition should complement your lifestyle, not control it, and together we’ll find ways for you to be healthy without sacrificing the things you love.
Your first session with Julia
Your first session is all about you! We’ll dive into your background, health history, and establish some overarching goals for our time together. Throughout each follow up session, we’ll dig in to where things are going well, and where we need to approach with new strategies. Think of me as your co-pilot as we navigate your goals!
