About Julia
Food has always felt like both medicine and enjoyment to me, and that blend guides my work as a registered dietitian. I earned an MS in Nutrition from Hunter College and for over four years I've supported patients across clinical and community settings, including hospitals, subacute rehab, and longterm rehab facilities. As an RDN and CDN I bring science-based care to everyday life. When I'm not working you'll find me running, hiking, cooking, practicing yoga, reading, or playing soccer.
Approach to care
I ground nutrition recommendations in current evidence while keeping the whole person at the center. I use a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size mindset so we'll focus on behaviors that improve energy and wellbeing rather than quick fixes or diet rules. I'm direct and action-oriented, offering clear, practical steps, and I prioritize education so you'll understand the why behind each change. Together we'll build sustainable habits, with compassion and no judgment.
Your first session with Julia
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history, look over any lab work or biometrics, and establish short-term goals that feel achievable. I will ask about routines, wins, and frustrations so we can create practical steps you can try between visits. You don't need to have it all figured out. We'll work together to set priorities and a clear plan that fits your life and supports long-term change.
