About Julia
I know how overwhelming it can feel to be stuck in the cycle of food rules, restriction, and guilt. So many of us spend years at war with our bodies — chasing diets, trying to control, and feeling like we’re constantly “failing.” As a teen, I too fell into the restrict–binge cycle and felt trapped for years. Discovering intuitive eating was a turning point for me — it gave me the freedom to rebuild body trust and find joy in food again. That journey is what led me to become a dietitian and dedicate my career to helping others who feel stuck in the same place. Along the way, I’ve worked as both a renal dietitian and in eating disorder treatment. In both settings, my philosophy has remained the same: instead of focusing on what to cut out, I help people explore what foods can fit, creating a more balanced, nourishing, and sustainable approach to eating.
Approach to care
My approach centers around intuitive eating, body trust, and an anti-diet philosophy. I believe food is meant to nourish, bring joy, and connect us — not to be feared or restricted. Together, we’ll focus on building sustainable habits that align with your values while breaking free from diet culture.
Your first session with Julia
Your first session is all about you. We’ll take time to understand your nutrition goals, health history, and relationship with food. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that supports your physical health and emotional well-being, while leaving space for flexibility, enjoyment, and real life.

Hobbies
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me enjoying new coffee shops, exploring local farmers’ markets, walking the beach, traveling, or spending time with friends, family, and my bulldog. I also love experimenting in the kitchen with seasonal foods — and yes, dessert always has a place!
