About Julia
My name is Julia! I have worked in many different settings including: Primary care, community and in nursing homes. I love teaching cooking classes and lessons about nutrition. I take an approach of "all foods fit" and want to personalize the recommendations I give you!
Approach to care
I want you to get the most out of these sessions. I tailor goals specifically to what you are focusing on! I like to provide goals and answer any nutrition questions you may have. Nutrition is a science where there isn't a black and white / yes or no answer, it depends! and that should be taken into consideration when making goals for each person!
Your first session with Julia
I like to get to know what a "typical day" looks like and how we can make your goals fit in to your life! I like to know what you eat so I can give you tips that make you feel empowered and aide in whatever you goal is! I also like to provide handouts and visuals so if you are a visual learner (like me) then I have the photo for you!
