About Julie
Hi, I'm Julie. I became a registered dietitian in 2012. I have experience helping patients manage chronic health conditions and in weight management. My goal is to make healthy eating simple, enjoyable, and achievable for everyone. Whether you are navigating food allergies, cooking for a busy family, or working on your personal health goals, I would be honored to come alongside you.
Approach to care
My approach to care is all about teamwork. I help patients set realistic, achievable goals and guide them with evidence-based recommendations. I encourage open, honest conversations so that we can address challenges and celebrate progress together. Every person is unique, and I'll take the time to listen and create a plan that's tailored to you. For those who wish, I can include faith based support as part of your wellness journey.
Your first session with Julie
In our first session we will take time to get to know each other. I'll learn about your health and nutrition history, your current habits, and your goals. We'll also talk about factors like sleep, exercise, stress, medications, and past diet experiences. This will help me see the whole picture and tailor my recommendations to you.
