About Julie
I love this work! I've been working in this field for 22 years and bring all of that experience to my sessions.
Approach to care
First, I treat the whole person not just a specific condition or issue. We start where YOU are not where anyone thinks you should be. I love the science of nutrition and believe that knowledge is key to change. Changing our behaviors where food and physical activity is concerned is easier said than done. Working together we will identify areas which need change and create specific goals and action items to make them. At sessions we review the goals and I aim to motivate, educate, and give you perspective on your progress. My end goal is to give you the tools to navigate the real world (your real world) while eating and moving in the way that works best for your long term health.
Your first session with Julie
Our first session my goal is to get to know the big picture of your health and diet history, currently lifestyle, schedule, etc! It's a lot to go over, but will help us pinpoint the most important things to target first as we start working together.
