About Julie
I am a committed Registered Dietitian with over 23 years of experience in helping individuals to live their healthiest lives.
Approach to care
I am passionate about meeting individuals where they are and walking beside them on their journey to wellness. I believe it is important to focus on the whole individual and celebrate all successes towards meeting health goals, no matter how big or small. I utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques to drive behavior change.
Your first session with Julie
In our first session, we discuss what the individual is hoping to achieve with their health and main health concerns. We will review the reason for scheduling the session and their goal for that first session. Additionally, we will cover any past efforts to improve their health and perceived challenges, current and past, that may have interfered with meeting any health goals. I will provide any recommendations, including educational resources, as appropriate. We will finish our session by setting at least one SMART goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely) to review at our next session.
