About Julie
Hi, I’m Julie Sanfilippo! I’m a registered dietitian with more than 20 years of experience helping people feel their best through food, lifestyle, and a deeper understanding of their health. Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for prevention, improving metabolic health, and reducing risk factors for chronic disease. I also hold a Certificate in Adult Weight Management and Obesity Interventions for Adults, which allows me to support clients who are ready to make meaningful, lasting changes in their health and habits. Outside of work, I’m married and a proud mom of three. I love to cook, fish, read, and take long walks — simple things that keep me grounded and happy.
Approach to care
My approach combines the science of nutrition with the principles of functional medicine — focusing on uncovering root causes, supporting whole-body wellness, and creating individualized plans that fit real life. I believe that good nutrition isn’t about perfection or restriction; it’s about progress, balance, and learning how to nourish your body so you can thrive.
Your first session with Julie
Your first session is all about you — your story, your goals, and what wellness means in your life. We’ll take time to discuss your health history, current habits, lifestyle, and any challenges you’re facing. I’ll also review any relevant lab work or medical information (if available) to get a full picture of your metabolic health. Together, we’ll identify your top priorities and create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan that feels realistic and supportive — not overwhelming. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting feeling heard, understood, and motivated, with clear, actionable steps to start moving toward better health.
