About Julie
I've had a passion for nutrition ever since I was little. I loved learning about foods and ingredients and how dishes came together. That led me to studying nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietitian. I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and have been working in the field of both clinical and outpatient nutrition care or over 10 years. I specialize in a wide range of areas including weight management, cardiovascular health, digestive disorders (such as IBS, food allergies, celiac disease, and colitis), and pre-diabetes. I'm passionate about helping individuals feel their best from the inside out by focusing on whole foods, balanced meals, and sustainable lifestyle changes. Outside of her work, I love staying active through running, hiking, and weightlifting. And a favorite of my is spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and creating nourishing meals.
Approach to care
When working with clients, I take a compassionate and personalized approach to care, taking time to deeply understand each individual’s unique health concerns, goals, and lifestyle. I believe that nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I work closely with my clients to uncover the root cause of symptoms, rather than just addressing surface-level issues. With empathy and genuine curiosity, I strive to help clients feel heard and supported—empowering them with knowledge and tools to make lasting, meaningful changes to their health.
Your first session with Julie
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and start building a plan tailored specifically to you. I’ll ask about your health history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any symptoms or concerns you’d like to address. This is a judgment-free space—I’m here to listen, learn, and support you. Together, we’ll start identifying your goals and discuss practical steps you can begin taking right away. By the end of the session, you'll walk away with a clearer understanding of your nutrition needs and a personalized roadmap for moving forward.
