About Julie
Hi, I’m Julie. With eight years as a Registered Dietitian, I combine science and practical habits to help you build lasting, healthy routines. I earned my BS in Nutrition from Texas A&M University and my MS in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. My work has spanned the Air Force, hospital settings, correctional facilities, clinical care, and sports nutrition, so I bring a broad view and a hands-on approach. When I’m not at the desk, you’ll find me biking, cheering college football, or lifting, which keeps me connected to the goals I set with clients.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in evidence, empathy, and practicality. I believe in an evidence-based, science-focused approach that translates to clear steps you can actually take. I stay compassionate and nonjudgmental, working together with you to honor your experiences and goals. I favor a direct, action-oriented style that still respects your pace, emphasizing sustainable habits and long-term change over quick diets. I practice with a holistic lens, addressing sleep, stress, activity, and food in context, and I empower you with knowledge so you can decide what fits your life.
Your first session with Julie
Our first session is all about you. We'll review your medical history and current routines, talk through your relationship with food, and establish short-term goals. This is a collaborative, low-pressure conversation where you won’t need to have everything figured out. Together we’ll define practical steps for the coming weeks and outline what support you’ll receive as we start our work. You can expect a warm, respectful space where your questions matter and your progress matters more than perfection.
