About Justine
Hi, I’m Justine, a Registered Dietitian and an Oregon native turned Midwest transplant. My journey into nutrition was inspired by a desire to manage my own chronic conditions more naturally, and a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right tools. Whether I’m tending to my garden or exploring local trails, I carry the lessons of the natural world into my practice: patience, nourishment, and sustainable growth. I am passionate about helping you bridge the gap between scientific data and intuitive living to achieve lasting wellness.
Approach to care
I believe that health is far more than just what is on your plate. My practice is rooted in integrative medicine and whole-person healing, acknowledging the complex intersections between food, hormones, and environment. I specialize in high-touch metabolic support, including: Diabetes Care and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) Management; PCOS Nutrition Care; GLP-1 Diet Management; and Sustainable Weight Management. For those navigating modern medical interventions such as GLP-1s, I ensure you maintain muscle mass and nutrient density while meeting your goals. My approach is scientifically-grounded but deeply intuitive; I use clinical data as a tool to help you understand your body’s unique rhythms. Whether we are evaluating dietary supplements or working to improve hormone balance, I am here to provide a plan that feels authentic to your lifestyle.
Your first session with Justine
Our first session is a "deep dive" into your story where we conduct a thorough background assessment. We will look at the big picture: your current food habits, medical history, stress levels, sleep quality, and personal desires. This isn't just a clinical intake; it’s a conversation about what you truly want to achieve in our work together. By the end of our time together, we will co-create 1–3 small, achievable goals. These "micro-wins" are designed to build your confidence and create immediate momentum toward your long-term vision without feeling overwhelming.
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama and completed my Dietetic Internship through Garden to Table Nutrition - a unique, holistic program led by Bastyr University alumni with a heavy focus on integrative care and whole-person wellness.
Hobbies
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me with my hands in the soil gardening or at the wheel creating pottery. I am an avid home cook who loves experimenting with seasonal ingredients, and I never turn down a cozy evening spent watching period-piece TV shows.
