About Kacie
Hi! My name is Kacie and I want you to share who I am as a person outside of being a Registered Dietitian. I am a dog mama to a sweet pug named Junior, a loyal friend and someone who values family time. In my professional life, I am a Clinical RD at a facility for Veterans. I get to nutritionally serve those who have served for our Country by helping these individuals manage their disease states. In both my professional and personal life, I aim to be that person that makes others feel comfortable, supported and accepted. I take pride in being someone people can turn to for help. When someone feels safe enough to open up and let me support them, that's what means the most to me. We have the same goal here, and that's to create a life that YOU want for yourself regarding diet and behavioral changes to ensure that we create the healthiest, more confident versions of yourselves. I look forward to meeting with each and every one of you and getting to know you more on a personal level.
Approach to care
Changing eating and lifestyle habits can be challenging and overwhelming, especially when life responsibilities get in the way or it's difficult to know where to even start. I emphasize giving yourself grace when it comes to making changes, and understand that progress is not linear. My ultimate goal is to meet you where you are and help you create a simple, personalized plan that will help you build and maintain sustainable habits that will support your long-term goals. Together, we'll focus on realistic change through goal setting, ongoing support and follow-up sessions that will acknowledge and celebrate your progress along the way. There are no restrictions, no "dieting," and no extreme exercise requirements, just realistic, balanced strategies that fit your real life expectations. You do not have to do this alone, I will be here to support you both in and out of sessions!
Your first session with Kacie
We will start our first session by getting to know YOU! I want to know all about your goals, your current lifestyle, your desired lifestyle as well as any challenges you may have. By getting to know you, this will help me as your provider understand the change you are wanting to achieve which will help guide you in goal setting to create a plan that feels realistic and personal to you. Our first session will be the easiest session of course, with no judgment or pressure, just a comfortable space to allow me as your provider hear your thoughts and find a sense of direction that feels reasonable and encouraging. By the end of our initial session together, you will leave with a clear idea on what to expect for our future sessions together!
