About Kacy

Kacy has been a registered dietitian since 2017, but she has been interested in food and nutrition for far longer. Kacy was diagnosed with type I diabetes (an autoimmune condition) at age 11. The amount of knowledge and work required to successfully manage this disease naturally made her interested in nutrition and how things like food, exercise, and sleep affect the body. Kacy strongly believes in the importance of being a "lifelong learner" in order to be the best dietitian she can be, as the science is constantly evolving. She especially loves studying about ways to prevent and manage chronic diseases.

Approach to care

Kacy's approach to nutrition is rooted in evidence based practices and personalized care. Whether you are seeking to manage a specific health condition or simply adopt a healthier lifestyle, Kacy is here to support you every step of the way. She believes in the power of practical, achievable changes that lead to forming new habits and lasting results.

Your first session with Kacy

During your first session, you'll discuss your current eating habits, lifestyle routines, and specific health goals. This helps Kacy understand your unique challenges. She will also ask about your food preferences, cultural influences, and nutritional beliefs to tailor a plan that aligns with your goals and is enjoyable for you. Using this information, you will set goals and develop an action plan, laying the foundation for followup sessions where Kacy will work with you to delve deeper into specific strategies, track progress, and adjust as needed to ensure you are on the path to success.
