About Kahler
Hello, I am so glad you clicked on my profile! My name is Kahler, your friendly non-diet dietitian. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology and later Radford University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I then went on to complete my dietetic internship through Meredith college. For the past few years, my career has been working in a residential treatment center focused on helping individuals recover from a variety of eating disorders. I also have additional training in fertility dietetics and prenatal/postpartum nutrition which I am excited to combine with my specialty in helping individuals heal their relationship with food.
Approach to care
Each of my clients are met with a compassionate, open, and judgement free space. I approach my nutrition education with an intuitive eating and HAES framework while combining other evidenced-based practice. My hope is to help each of my clients heal their relationship with food and find freedom in making their personal food decisions.
Your first session with Kahler
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, and I will do my best to make you feel as comfortable as possible while discussing your nutrition concerns. I will obtain a detailed nutrition history and collaborate with you on your personalized care plan to optimize outcomes towards your nutrition goals.
