About Kaiten
Hello! I'm Kaiten, a registered dietitian with 7+ years of experience in food allergy and celiac disease management and general health and wellness. With my Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Texas, and a Master's degree in Nutritional Science from Arizona State University, I am committed to evidence-based care and staying up to date on the latest research. As a busy mom, I understand the importance of creating small, manageable habits, and meeting people where they are at.
Approach to care
My goal is to always help you feel confident and informed when making nutrition-related decisions. I use an intuitive eating approach as a long-term goal for my clients. I understand that every person is unique, and nutrition is not one-size-fits-all. I strive to provide a non-judgmental, shame free environment. After all, food is such a personal experience in so many ways.
Your first session with Kaiten
Our first session is all about getting to know each other! We will discuss your goals, past and present food behaviors, your relationship with food, health history, lifestyle and more. This is your time to share as much of your story as you feel comfortable with! We'll talk about what has been working (and what hasn't), and start mapping out a plan to help you move towards your goals in a way that feels supportive
