About Kaitlin
Hi! I'm Kaitlin, and I am so excited to begin working with you! I have been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over 7 years, working in many different environments and with a wide variety of patients. From the hospital setting, to university nutrition, one-on-one nutrition counseling, and healthcare sales, my number one priority is always you, the patient. It is an honor and privilege to be able to share my knowledge of nutrition and my love for food in helping you lead a happy and healthy life.
Approach to care
Your sessions are yours. I understand that every person is different, so my approach to care will be individualized to you and your needs during each session, tackling whatever feels most comfortable to you at that time. I will meet you where you are, aiming to always provide a safe, judgement-free, and comfortable space. You are ultimately in the drivers seat - I am here to guide you on your journey to balanced health and well-being through food, however that may look to you!
Your first session with Kaitlin
After taking the time to briefly introduce myself, I will hand it over to you to learn more about you and your overall goal(s) in wanting to work with a dietitian at Nourish. We will review your health history, daily eating habits, physical activity patterns, everyday routine on weekdays and weekends, and discover what you would most like to gain from our time together. Educational materials and/or recipes may also be reviewed based on our discussion and upon request. At the end of our first session, we will determine 1-2 short-term, attainable goals for you to focus on until our next session. Before signing off, I will schedule that follow-up session with you and answer any additional questions you may have.
