Patient reviews

  • “Kaitlyn has helped me navigate so many dietary needs. From an initial diagnosis of SIBO to now working with enteral nutrition through a feeding tube, she has gone above and beyond helping me navigate GI doctor appointments, helping me advocate for myself, providing emotional support, and providing guidance every step of the way. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Her patience and validation has meant the world to me.“

  • “I came to Kaitlyn in the midst of severe ADHD burnout with IBS symptoms in the mix and a brain utterly perplexed and frozen by fad-diet culture "knowledge". Kaitlyn kindly, compassionately, and generously guided me into eating for my brain's and body's needs, and very non-judgementally reeducated my misinformed self. She has been a joy to exchange ideas with and learn from. I am sure that Kaitlyn can help others through so much more, however, if you are neurodivergent, Kaitlyn is a godsend. “

  • “Kaitlyn is so very encouraging and patient with me while figuring out how to handle these new Diagnosis and issues with my gut! She's been wonderful and optimistic with me about the situation, and is very sweet with celebrating victories! I'm glad I had the chance to work with her!“

About Kaitlyn

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Ashner, RDN, LD (she/her), your neuro-affirming Dietitian specializing in Neurodivergence & Complex Conditions! I truly believe that nutrition should feel empowering and structured. It should never be overwhelming or make you feel ashamed. My practice is all about helping LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults—including people with ADHD or Autism—find peace as they navigate eating disorder recovery and disordered eating. We don't just talk about food here; we build custom food systems that are actually designed to work with your unique brain and executive function style. 🧠🏳️‍🌈

Approach to care

I hear from folks all the time that I'm "very easy to talk to" and that my approach finally brings the clarity and structure they’ve been searching for. That’s because we tackle the real-life barriers right away. We create simple, reliable meal routines to cut down on decision fatigue, and we always honor your sensory needs without any judgment. Plus, we handle complex co-occurring conditions, like PCOS or Thyroid Disorders, from a genuinely weight-neutral perspective. I guide you using a structured, three-phase roadmap—Structure, Stability, and Sustainable Intuition—so you always know what’s next. Ultimately, we use a non-diet, Intuitive Eating framework to finally heal your relationship with food. 🧡

Your first session is your chance to take a deep breath and relax. We'll identify what’s been challenging and immediately start mapping out your Personalized Executive Function Roadmap. You certainly don't need to come with all the answers! I'll listen with real compassion, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure you feel validated and grounded. When we wrap up, you'll walk away with three clear, actionable steps and a comprehensive plan for making meaningful progress. By the end, my goal is for you to feel grounded, understood, and confident about your structured path forward. Ready for clarity?
