About Kaitlyn
I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2017 working in medically supervised weight loss and weight management. I work in an outpatient clinic providing nutrition education and have extensive experience with GLP-1s and other weight loss medications. Although weight loss is my specialty, I have worked with a number of populations and individuals with varying needs & lifestyles. I am ready to help you with whatever you need to help you achieve your goals and be the happiest and healthiest version of you- regardless of a number on the scale. I am passionate about helping others develop and nurture a positive relationship with food. I myself have struggled with weight, body image, and "picky eater" tendencies throughout my life and am looking forward to helping others with the knowledge and tools I have learned along the way.
Approach to care
I value accountability & consistency and holding one another to it! I understand that nutrition is very nuanced and there are a lot of emotions and feelings surrounding it. My goal is to nurture your relationship with food while understanding that "all foods fit" & "everything is okay in moderation." I want to make you feel supported and heard, along with holding you accountable to help you achieve your goals. I am a believer that too much change at once is overwhelming and not sustainable, so our focus will be on achieving small goals along the way that will build up to immense change.
Your first session with Kaitlyn
The first session is all about YOU! I look forward to getting to know all about you and beginning to lay the groundwork for our future sessions. Building a relationship to establish rapport is key to being comfortable with one another as we get deeper with each session. I see everyone as an individual and there is no "one size fits all" approach.
