About Kaitlyn
I’m a Registered Dietitian with a background in pediatric and neonatal nutrition, and I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and families build flexible, positive relationships with food. I support families navigating picky eating, growth concerns, early signs of disordered eating, eating disorders, and postpartum nutrition challenges through a weight-inclusive, developmentally appropriate lens. My work focuses on guiding parents with evidence-based strategies like the Division of Responsibility, creating low-pressure mealtime environments, and establishing sustainable, family-centered routines that support both nutrition and emotional well-being. I also support postpartum parents as they navigate feeding transitions, nourishment, and body image changes during this unique life stage. As both a clinician and a parent, I understand how stressful feeding challenges can feel and I’m here to help families find confidence and relief at the table.
Approach to care
My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I use a weight-inclusive, developmentally appropriate lens to support families in building positive, sustainable relationships with food. For children and teens, I guide parents in creating mealtime environments that promote trust, reduce pressure, and support growth and competence. For postpartum clients, I focus on realistic, nourishing strategies that support recovery, body image, and gentle self-care during this unique season. I strive to create a collaborative, shame-free space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes that fit their lives.
Your first session with Kaitlyn
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and your goals. I’ll ask about your current routines, medical history, feeding dynamics, and any concerns you’d like to address. My goal is to understand your full story so we can create a plan that feels realistic and supportive for your family. We’ll discuss next steps together, which might include practical strategies to try at home, helpful resources, or setting up follow-up sessions to support ongoing progress. I aim for you to leave our first meeting feeling understood, less overwhelmed, and clear on where we’re headed.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Viterbo University
Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, drinking iced coffee year round, spending quality time with friends and family, and soaking up warm days outdoors. I'm a bit of a homebody at heart and love slow brunches, cheering on my daughter at gymnastics meets, cuddling with my cat Luna, and finding gentle ways to move my body.
