About Karen

Mom of 2 adult children and a yorkie. Lived in Asia, the east (CT) and west coast (CA) of the US. Recently moved back to Los Angeles to be closer to family and for spouse’s work. Over 25 years of experience in counseling and nutrition. Recent area of professional development and personal interest-nutrition and heathy aging.

Approach to care

Lifestyle change, optimum nutrition, sometimes with help of medication. Everyone has a unique story to their health journey. There is no one approach to reaching your health goals. Balance, moderation, enjoyment of food, health at every size, sustainable and consistent movement.

Your first session with Karen

Will first seek to understand your comprehensive health journey, the highs ( a time when you feel the ‘healthiest’ ) and the lows ( a time when you feel you health is in jeopardy). After understanding your inquest health journey, then will collaborate with you to come up with 1 or 2 SMART (sustainable, measurable, actionable, realistic goals with time span to reach them).
