About Karenna

I am a registered dietitian passionate about helping people build confidence in their food choices and reconnect with the joy of eating. After six years in the corporate world and as a parent of a young child, I understand how real life can make health feel like just another task at the end of a long to-do list. That lived experience shapes my approach: I provide practical, judgment-free nutrition guidance that fits into your real life—not the other way around. My mission is to help you navigate today’s overwhelming food landscape and develop the knowledge, confidence, and self-trust to make choices that support your health and your happiness. With a background in food service and a lifelong love of home cooking, I’m here to help you build a way of eating that’s as delicious as it is sustainable.

Approach to care

My approach centers on empowering you to take charge of your own health. I combine clinical expertise with counseling strategies that help you identify your strengths, clarify your values, and turn small wins into lasting behavior change. We’ll work as partners: I bring nutrition knowledge, and you bring expertise on what works for you. Together, we’ll cut through confusing diet noise, build up your nutrition knowledge, and create realistic changes that feel manageable. You’ll leave our work not just with a plan, but with the skills and self-trust to keep going, even when life gets busy.

Your first session with Karenna

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and filling out an initial assessment that focuses on your health history, nutrition goals, current routines, and what matters most to you. By talking through your past experiences and exploring what you have found helpful (or not), we will begin crafting a personalized plan that feels doable and aligned with your values. To help you build momentum and feel supported early on, I recommend weekly sessions at the start. This gives us the space to celebrate early progress, navigate challenges as they come up, and build a solid foundation for meaningful, sustainable change.
