About Kari
Hi, my name is Kari. I have been a registered dietitian for 25 years. I have provided both outpatient and inpatient nutrition care. I have helped patients/clients create realistic, sustainable eating habits that support long-term health. I provide evidence-based nutrition counseling for a wide range of concerns, including nutrition therapy after surgery/GI surgeries, diabetes, heart health, gastrointestinal conditions, malnutrition and overall wellness. My approach is patient-centered and non-judgmental. I believe nutrition should fit into your life—not the other way around—so I focus on practical strategies, education, and goal-setting tailored to each person’s needs, culture, and lifestyle. I’m passionate about helping patients build confidence around food, improve their relationship with eating, and feel empowered to make informed choices for their health.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition care should be individualized, realistic, and compassionate. I focus on evidence-based guidance while honoring personal preferences, culture, and lifestyle. By focusing on measurable goals and ongoing support, I help patients manage chronic conditions, improve outcomes, and maintain long-term health.
Your first session with Kari

During your initial visit, we may: • Review your medical history, lab results, medications, and supplements • Discuss your typical eating patterns, food preferences, culture, and lifestyle • Talk about symptoms, challenges, and past experiences with nutrition or dieting • Clarify your goals and what you hope to get out of nutrition counseling
