About Karli
Hi, I’m Karli and am excited about the possibility of working with you. I become a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer because I wanted to be able to help others achieve optimal health and feel their best. I specialize in guiding clients to make lifestyle changes such as increasing fruit and vegetable intake, learning how to create balanced meals, and determining the best type of exercise that will fit into your current routine. In my career thus far, I have built a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and research. My background includes extensive work in cardiovascular health and performance nutrition, and I love helping people fuel their bodies for everything from everyday fitness to athletic goals. I also have years of experience supporting clients who want to explore or fully adopt a plant-based lifestyle.
Approach to care
As a dietitian, I will take a whole-person approach to your nutrition and wellness. I believe that achieving health isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s shaped by your environment, culture, lifestyle, job, support system, socioeconomic factors, and your time, motivation, and readiness to change. I factor all of that in as we set short- and long-term goals together. I don’t expect you to go from 0 to 100 overnight. Instead, we’ll take small, meaningful steps toward building sustainable habits that support your overall well-being. No matter if it takes a few weeks to implement one new change, or if you are able to start something the next day, I will be here to support and motivate you along the way. This should not be a stressful journey, but an investment in your present, and future self.
Your first session with Karli
In our first session, I simply want to take the time to learn more about you as an individual in whatever capacity you feel comfortable sharing with me. The more I know about you as a person, whether it be family life, current job schedule, favorite hobbies, or even what your typical sleep schedule is, the more I can tailor my counseling to meet your lifestyle. Of course, because you are signing up to work with a Registered Dietitian, talking about what you eat will always be in the picture, however you will be surprised to soon realize that often times that is not the biggest topic of discussion. Together, we will talk through barriers to change, develop both short and long-term goals, and come up with strategies to help you achieve and maintain optimal health.
