About Karlie
Karlie is a Registered Dietitian based in New York City (but originally from the Midwest). Over the past 3 1/2 years, she's worked with clients struggling with eating disorders across the spectrum at higher levels of care (PHP and IOP). She loves talking with clients about healing their relationships to food, movement, and their own hunger and fullness cues over time.
Approach to care
Karlie takes a HAES and all-foods-fit (non-diet) approach while helping clients rebuild a healthy relationship with food and movement. She enjoys meeting clients where they're at to collaborate on the path towards eating disorder recovery and believes that full recovery is possible for everyone.
Your first session with Karlie
Your first session is all about getting to know you as an individual, hearing about your eating disorder history (depending on comfort level), understanding current struggles in healing your relationship with food and your goals for recovery. Please share anything that has felt helpful or unhelpful in past treatment experiences.
