About Kate
I live in Rhode Island with my two young boys and a dog. I'd love to say I have hobbies… but I have two young boys and a dog! I have been a dietitian since 2008 and have spent much of that time working in the community. I value nutrition education that leads to long-lasting behavior change, at any age! I've worked out in the community with pre-school youth at daycare settings all the way through older adults at senior centers.
Approach to care
This is your health, and I'm here to support you in making the changes you want, big or small. No goal is too small. In fact, I value small, manageable steps that feel realistic and rewarding to you. Your goals are the priority, and I'm here to help you reach them at your own pace.
Your first session with Kate
I want to get to know you! There is so much that goes into a healthy lifestyle, and just as much that can get in the way. In our first session we will talk about your lifestyle, your journey so far, and what you hope to achieve. Together we will create a plan that fits you- your goals, your pace and your real life.

Education
My undergraduate degree was in Exercise Physiology from University of Massachusetts Amherst. I received both my Masters of Science and my PhD in nutrition from the University of Rhode Island.
Hobbies
I don't get much "me" time, but when I do I love to exercise- go for a walk, spin on a bike, do Pilates, anything! But mostly my hobbies circle around daily life bustle.
