About Kate
As a registered dietitian living with celiac disease myself, I deeply understand the daily challenges of managing digestive health. My mission is to partner with clients from all walks of life-whether you’re navigating chronic gut symptoms, seeking better mental-emotional balance, or simply wanting a more peaceful relationship with food-to uncover sustainable, nourishing ways forward.
Approach to care
As a functional medicine RD, I focus on uncovering the root causes behind your health struggles rather than putting band-aids on issues. Everyone has a story: past diets, food beliefs, wins & struggles. I strive to create a space where you can bring your whole self: body, mind, and experiences without fear of shame. Mistakes, slips, imperfect days: all part of the journey. My job is to meet you where you are and support you from there.
Your first session with Kate
We’ll begin with some time to get to know you-how you’re feeling today (physically, mentally, emotionally), where you’re coming from, and what’s most pressing for you right now. Based on what you share, I’ll offer early thoughts or possible contributing factors (e.g. digestion, food triggers, stress, environment). These aren’t diagnoses, but working hypotheses to guide our next steps. At the end, you’ll have space to ask questions, raise concerns, or let me know if something feels unclear or overwhelming. My aim is that you leave feeling heard, empowered, and ready (not pressured).
