About Kate
Hi, I'm Kate, a Registered Dietitian practicing in New York City. I earned my MS in Nutrition from Simmons University and have spent time in clinical and hospital settings. In my first year as an RD, I've focused on translating science into practical, compassionate guidance. I'm dedicated to helping people build a healthier relationship with food without judgment. When I'm not meeting with patients, I enjoy exploring NYC's vibrant food scene and learning from every new conversation. I'm glad you're here.
Approach to care
Together, we'll approach health through evidence-based practice and Health at Every Size principles. I'm here to listen with empathy and warmth, translating current science into doable steps you can actually use. We'll set clear, achievable goals and tailor a plan that fits your tastes, schedule, and values. My approach is holistic and educational, helping you understand why choices matter and how small daily habits add up. No diet culture, just sustainable progress you can maintain.
Your first session with Kate
Our first appointment is a time to get to know you. We'll review your medical history and labs, dive into your relationship with food, and start identifying short-term goals. Together we'll create a personalized meal plan that fits your life, not the other way around. You don't need to have it all figured out yet, just show up as you are. I want you to leave feeling understood, supported, and a little clearer about the next steps we'll take together.
