About Kate
Food freedom has guided my life and my work from day one. I hold a BS in Public Health and dietetics, and as a CD and RD with seven years of experience, I’ve worked in hospitals, private practice, corporate wellness, community health, and meal prep. I bring practical, real-world experience to each conversation, and I love blending evidence-based guidance with everyday life. When I’m not with clients you’ll find me hiking with my dog, cooking, trying new coffee shops or curled up with a good book.
Approach to care
I center care in science and compassion, blending evidence-based strategies with a warm, nonjudgmental stance. I practice from a perspective that focuses on behaviors and sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We’ll work together to translate research into clear, practical steps, with education and accountability that fit your life. I prioritize the whole person, including mental and emotional well-being, so changes last beyond a single program.
Your first session with Kate
Expect a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation where we follow what matters most to you. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and then push you a little further each time we meet. You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about your history, wins, frustrations, and priorities, and you’ll drive what we focus on. Together we’ll leave with one or two manageable next steps that feel realistic and sustainable.
